Welcome to Coleraine

Welcome to the Student Village. To keep safe, please take a few moments to read the fire safety information overleaf which we would ask you to observe during your stay.

We hope that you will make yourself at home. If you have any specific requirements regarding your accommodation or any other University facilities, please feel free to ask any member of the Residential team.

Over the past few years, we have played host to many residential events such  as summer schools, world sporting events and professional conferences. Smaller groups, and individual visitors have also made use of our extensive facilities.

We hope you have a great stay, and we are sure that once you have enjoyed what we currently have available, you will wish to visit us again. If you are planning another event soon and require more specific information about  availability and prices, please contact a member of the residential team during your stay.

Finally, thank you once again for choosing Coleraine as your venue, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Please be aware that the alarms are tested each Wednesday at 1.10pm and 6.10pm in Knocklayde and Errigal, and each Thursday in Cranagh between 1.30pm and 2pm. It is NOT necessary to evacuate during these scheduled tests.

What to do

If you hear an alarm (a continuous sound and red flashing light) you should:

Leave the building at a rapid walking pace by the nearest available exit.

  • Do not stop to collect personal belongings
  • Do not use lifts
  • Make your way to the Fire Assembly Point - Car Park 2
  • Do not re-enter the building until you are told by a member of University staff or Emergency Service personnel that it is safe to do so
