Reusable Cup Week 2025

1. The Promoters

2. The Giveaway

The title of the giveaway is No Disposable Cup Week – Free Giveaway, run in conjunction with Ulster University, Ulster University Students’ Union, and Northern Ireland Resources Network.

3. How to Get Your Cup

The giveaway will run from 08:00am on Monday 29th September 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 5:00pm on Friday 4th October 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

To receive a free reusable cup, participants must visit the main campus Ulster University outlets during the giveaway period. Cups will be given out on a first come, first served basis while stocks last.

Exclusions apply: Hjem, Scullery and Jitters are not participating in this giveaway.

2. One cup per person.
   
   By participating in the giveaway, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

The giveaway is open to all Ulster University students and staff aged 18 years or over.

The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any participant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the giveaway.

5. The Giveaway Item

Each eligible participant will receive one reusable cup.

1. The item is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
2. Subject to availability.
3. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the item with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoters, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate participants or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the giveaway item except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoters, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Data Protection and Publicity

No personal data will be collected as part of this giveaway.

The Promoters will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoters may, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the giveaway.

The Promoters reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by Northern Irish law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
