1. The Promoter
The promoter is Ulster University (registered with company number RC000726), UU Sport at 8 Nelson St, Nelson Place, Belfast BT15 1BH.
2. The Draw
The title of the draw is ‘Team UU Raffle 2025’
First Prize – £2000 Holiday Voucher (supplier to be confirmed)
Second Prize - £500
Third Prize – Team UU Kit Package (jumper, t-shirt and track bottoms)
3. How to Enter
3.1 The draw will run from 09:00 on 25/09/25 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on 05/11/25 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. The draw will take place on the 07/11//25 and announced via social media and direct email/phone call communications with the relevant winners.
3.2 All draw entries must be received by the Promoter at the address set out at condition 1 & condition 3.4 by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 Paid Entries can be made by:
3.3.1 Purchase of an online ticket via the Klubfunder platform for £10, which can be found on the Ulster University Student Sport Social Media pages (https://www.instagram.com/ulsteruni.sport/) and global emails (sport@ulster.ac.uk) by the Closing Date.
3.3.2 Purchase of a printed ticket via the UU Gaelic Games Academy for £10 by the Closing Date.
3.4 Postal Entry: To enter the competition for free using postal entry, please send your entry by first or second-class post with a stamped and addressed envelope to Raffle, UU Sport at 8 Nelson St, Nelson Place, Belfast BT15 1BH. Please include with your entry your full name, address, a contact telephone number and email address. You may make multiple free entries for the competition (up to any limit placed on entries by Ulster University) but each free entry must be submitted and posted to Ulster University separately.
3.5 The Promoter will not accept:
3.5.1 responsibility for competition entries that are incomplete, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.9 A winner will be chosen by an electronic random draw performed by a computerised random generator solution on 07/11/25 (DRAW DATE).
4. Eligibility
4.1.1 The draw is only open to those who purchase a ticket as detailed in paragraph 3.3 above.
4.1.2 Anyone over the age of 18 years can enter.
4.1.3 In entering the draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the draw. If you are unable to prove your eligibility, you will be disqualified from the draw.
The Promoter will not accept draw entries that are:
4.1.4 automatically generated by computer;
4.1.5 completed by third parties or in bulk;
4.1.6 illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
4.1.7 photocopies and not originals; or incomplete.
4.2 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
5. The Prize
5.1 The prizes are:
5.1.1 First Prize – £2000 Holiday Voucher (supplier to be confirmed)
5.1.2 Second Prize - £500 tax free cash
5.1.3 Third Prize – Team Ulster University Kit Package (which includes a jumper, t-shirt and track bottoms in a size of your choice).
Only one of each prize is available. Three winners will be selected.
5.2 You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question. All organisation of the holiday will be the responsibility of the relevant winner.
5.3 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the non-cash prizes (first and third prizes).
5.4 The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
5.5 In order to claim any prize you must respond to the Promoter’s email communication or telephone call within two weeks of the Draw Date as outlined in clause 4 above.
6. Winners
6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the draw entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the draw entry form has been submitted.
6.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place on the 07/11/25. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will report the winner’s entry onto it’s Facebook and or Instagram account.
6.4 If you object to your winning entry being published or made available, please email the Promoter sport@ulster.ac.uk in such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Claiming the Prize
7.1 Refer to the details of how to claim in condition 6.5. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 14 days of the Draw Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Limitation of Liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ownership of Competition Entries and Intellectual Property Rights
9.1 The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
9.2 You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the draw entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the draw entry and any accompanying material for such purposes.
10. Data Protection and Publicity
10.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out on the University website: (https://www.ulster.ac.uk/about/ous/data-protection-and-information-compliance/gdpr/privacy/competition)
10.2 See also condition 7.3 and condition 8, with regard to the announcement of winners.
10.3 All in-hand tickets will be stored in a locked filing cabinet with only a limited number of UU Sport staff having access.
11. General
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the draw.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by Northern Irish law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
