Bus and Rail
Ylink
For £8 only, you will receive 1/3 off your bus and rail travel with yLink for all 16-23 year olds which lasts up to 8 years.

The card offers substantial savings across all Translink services:

- Ulsterbus 1/3 off cash singles
- NI Railways 1/3 off singles, day returns, weekly and monthly fares
- Enterprise up to 50% off fares
Rail
24+ Student Railcard
For the mature students on a full time course in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Great Britain, this card provides 1/3 off NI Railways through NI, plus discounts of up to 50% on Enterprise services.
Bus
Smartlink
Metro: Smartlink is a plastic smart card which can be loaded in one of two ways to enable you to buy either a certain number of journeys e.g. 10, 20, 30 or 40 in advance (Multi-Journey or MJ) OR to buy a week or a month’s worth of travel, giving unlimited travel across the entire Metro network (Travel Cards).
Multi-Journey Smartcard
If you travel regularly on our Ulsterbus or Goldline services and purchase either single or return tickets you could make significant savings by moving to a Multi-Journey Smartcard.
Uni-link Service 163A
Uni-Link is a direct bus service from Botanic Avenue to Ulster University, Jordanstown.
This service operates Monday-Friday from:
- Queen’s University, (University Road)
- City Centre to Northern Regional College
- Newtownabbey and on to the Jordanstown Campus and Jordanstown Road during Term times only
