The following information has been collated to inform staff of the relevant discounted Translink products services available.

Bus

SmartLink

Smartlink is a plastic smart card which can be loaded in one of two ways to enable you to buy either a certain number of journeys in advance (Multi-Journey or MJ) OR to buy a week or a month’s worth of travel (Travel Card).

Smartlink Offers a Number of Benefits:

  • It saves you money.
  • It is a safer, cash free method of payment for travel.
  • Smartlink helps speed up boarding times!
  • Lost or Stolen cards can be cancelled or ‘hotlisted’, preventing fraudulent use.

SmartLink - Metro

Ulsterbus and Goldline Multi-Journey Cards

If you travel regularly on Ulsterbus or Goldline services and purchase  either single or return tickets you could make significant savings by moving to  a Multi-Journey Smartcard.

Rail

mLink

mLink is Quick, no need to carry money & queue at the station.

mLink is Easy, you'll find purchasing mLink tickets and using your mobile for travel is easy and convenient.

mLink is Secure, buying a ticket via your mobile is twice as secure as making any online purchase.

Weekly and monthly tickets

Savings applied to tickets purchased online for weekly and monthly services.

If you travel by train regularly, you could be saving money by purchasing a weekly or a monthly ticket. Weekly tickets offer unlimited travel for 7 days between two designated stations and run from Monday – Sunday.

Bus and Rail

iLink

Ideal if you travel by both bus and train to your destination on a regular basis. It is a smartcard which you can top-up again and again.

iLink is now  available for travel within 5 ZONES in Northern Ireland, Zones 1, 2, 3, 4 and the North West Zone.

It saves you money. If you travel by bus and train within specified zones, using iLink could be better value for money than buying separate bus and train tickets.

Annual Commuter Travelcards

Offers unlimited travel for 12 months between two chosen points Monday to Friday and freedom of Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus networks within Northern Ireland at weekends.

Annual Commuter Travelcards offer a 20% saving on the cost of buying monthly tickets.
