The Library regularly schedules training workshops covering a variety topics and available to book via the Library training calendar. The majority of these sessions will be held online, though occasional in-person workshops may be scheduled.
New for this academic year are Open Access workshops, covering both Open Access publishing and 'Copyright & Creative Commons'. New GenAI workshops are also available to book, including 'Using GenAI Critically', 'Using CoPilot' & 'GenAI Tools and Library Databases'.
New IEEE workshops are available to book, covering the IEEE referencing style for Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment students.
Regular referencing workshops will be available over the course of Semester 2. These include:
- RefWorks workshops
- Harvard referencing workshops for AHSS, CEBE & UUBS students (dates to be confirmed)
- Harvard referencing workshops for LHS students (dates to be confirmed)
- OSCOLA referencing sessions for law students
- American Psychological Association (APA) referencing (dates to be confirmed)
