Module Information Requests from Archived Records

Graduates of Ulster University may request information about modules studied as part of  their programme.  The Centre for Curriculum Enhancement and Approval (CCEA) maintains archived programme records and can provide available module and programme documentation for studies completed within the past 25 years.

Requests are processed on a best endeavours basis.  While every effort will be made to retrieve relevant documentation, availability archived records cannot be guaranteed.

What we can provide:

Where available, we can supply information from archived records relating to modules studied as part of your programme (for example, module descriptors or approved programme documentation).  Please note that archived records vary by programme and year, and the level of detail available may differ.

Eligibility

This service is available to:

  • Graduates of Ulster University programmes
  • Individuals who completed their studies within the past 25 years – May request syllabus information (see below)

This service is not available to:

  • Associate students of partner, affiliate, or collaborative institutions
  • Students who studied at Further Education (FE) Colleges
  • Individuals requesting information on behalf of someone else (unless formally authorised)

Please note: if you studied at an external institution or as part of a collaborative arrangement, please contact the institution where you studied directly

How to make a request

  1. Complete the Module Information Request Form  Module Information Requests from Archived Records  – Fill in form
  2. We will confirm what documentation is available and advise of the applicable fee.
  3. Payment will be made via the University's Online Store
  4. Once payment is received, documentation will be issued electronically by email.

Fees

  • The standard fee is £70 per course. This includes available archived module information and a certified copy of your academic transcript.
  • If you provide your own official academic transcript with your request, a reduced fee will apply.
  • Additional fees may apply for multiple-course or complex requests.
  1. Once your request is processed and confirmed, you will receive an email with instructions for payment via the University’s
  2. After payment is received, the requested information will be sent to you electronically by email.

Transcripts and Award Documents

This service provides archived module and programme information only.

For academic transcripts, replacement  certificates,  duplicate transcripts or parchments, please contact your campus Examinations Office directly.  Award Certificates, Transcripts and Diploma Supplements

FAQs

Can I get detailed assessment information or module content?

Course documents vary.  We will provide all available information, but detail may differ depending on programme and year.

Can someone else request the information on my behalf?

Yes, but only with formal written consent. Without this, we can only correspond directly with the former student
