Inspire Workplaces

Challenge

A key challenge was how to transition the existing traditional mental health services to a new digital platform in order to extend the service provision and provide remote availability at all hours.

The “Inspire Support Hub” platform would be available to any client’s employees seeking general mental health and wellbeing support, incorporating a sophisticated AI-enabled chatbot interface. This gateway would provide instant access to a range of information, guidance, screening, and intervention tools, tailored specifically to help care for an individual's well-being needs.

Solution

This KTP project facilitated a collaboration with Ulster University to develop:

  • The capability to effectively, safely and professionally triage employees to a high standard of clinical governance and accountability utilising the latest chatbot technology.
  • A broad range of wellbeing services that incorporates a wellbeing-orientated model of service delivery in line with best practice and market needs.
  • Company capacity to develop software in-house to directly shape the Inspire Support Hub.
  • Significant potential for ongoing service development related to the application of the trauma tool, student support, online training and innovative psychoeducation and therapeutic intervention.

Company Impact

This KTP developed a technology platform that offers access to mental health screening and support for company employees who are at risk of secondary traumatic stress as a result of performing a job role that involves exposure to disturbing digital media.
