Applications to our postgraduate courses are made directly using our online application system where you can also upload supporting documentation including transcripts and a personal statement.
Transcripts and degree certificates
We request that all transcripts from your higher education studies (BA, BSc, MA, MSc) to be presented in English. If you have already graduated please also upload an official copy of your award certificate, which shows the date you graduated. However, if your transcripts include the date of graduation and grade then we do not need the award certificate.
The Personal Statement gives you the opportunity to 'sell' yourself and is a vital part of your application. Here you should demonstrate why you should be chosen to study on your particular course of choice. Here are some things that are a good idea to include:
- why you chose the course
- your achievements and interests and how these relate to your chosen course of study
- work, voluntary or life experience
- why you would like to study at Ulster University
Our Research Student Administration administers all research studentships - get more information on applying for research studies.
