Other Training & Qualifications

Students engage in additional training and qualifications for a variety of reasons and through the Ulster Graduate Award, you can secure the recognition you deserve for being committed to continually developing your skills and knowledge.

Examples of additional training and qualifications include:

  • Language qualifications
  • Sign language
  • Speech and Drama
  • Sports coaching qualifications
  • Health and Safety
  • First Aid
  • Technology accreditation
  • Accredited Carbon Literacy Training (KNIB)

The training/qualification you submit must include a minimum of 10 hours total effort, including any face to face/online workshops and additional work/study associated with the course.

Other Achievements

Sometimes students engage in activities or have achievements that do fall into the available categories. Maybe you have achieved something special in sport or raised funds for a charity that is close to your heart or achieved something else which demonstrates that you are demonstrating and developing the Ulster Graduate Attributes.

If you are submitting additional training/qualification information please ensure that the course has involved a minimum of 10 hours learning activities and has been completed during your time at Ulster University. You can not claim for courses completed prior to your course start date.
