Whilst Chinese New Year conjures up images of vibrant celebrations with traditional music and dance we are also increasingly mindful of a country set to become the biggest global economy by 2030.
Textiles, wind farms, tourists or students: Northern Ireland has plenty of reasons to examine this relationship more closely. Should Derry/Londonderry be prepared to maximise on these evolving relationships: building on existing connections through the Confucius Institute, and developing new ones, Ireland’s first Chinatown?
