The Ulster University Graduate Fashion Show returns to St Anne’s Cathedral on Thursday 31st May, showcasing Northern Ireland’s most exciting emerging designers from the university’s Belfast School of Art. Ideas are diverse with influences from the military, nature and ghosts being explored. The designs will reveal the breadth of processes available on the Textile Art, Design and Fashion Course, including embroidery, knit, print and weave.

This year we also have the pleasure of welcoming back some of our talented alumni and friends of Belfast School of Art, who will be presenting their design collections on the night. Fintan Mulholland and Mary Callan will be showing their womenswear knitwear collections, Silver Apples childrenswear will reveal their new WB Yeats collection, alongside Chloe Dougan, and our resident designers Francesca Keaveney and Aoise Herron.

The show will open with a recent collaborative project that was part of the Fashion and Freedom Exhibition entitled Deeds Not Words and this will be the beginning of the PROCESSIONS event on the 10th of June celebrating the suffragette movement and women getting the vote.
