In celebration of Ulster University Business School's 50th anniversary, join us for an inspiring evening with Professor Martin McCracken.

This inaugural lecture marks the formal recognition of Professor McCracken’s contributions to research and teaching at the University in the area of work and employment. It will also be an opportunity to hear Professor McCracken share insights on strategies modern organisations should consider to effectively empower and develop the skills and talents of all their employees given the rapidly changing world of work.

About Professor Martin McCracken

Martin McCracken is Research Director at Ulster University Business School and Professor of Work and Employment. Prior to joining Ulster University in 2005 Martin worked at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Edinburgh Napier University and is an alumnus of the Universities of Leeds and Edinburgh Napier. Martin’s research focuses mainly upon the areas of skills development and employability with a particular focus upon understanding how HR Professionals work with colleagues in other functions to create healthy and effective organisations. He has published research findings in leading Management and Leadership journals and has attracted substantial research funding from prestigious organisations including ESRC; Advance HE and Chartered Institute for Personnel Development.
