Our facilities in Derry~Londonderry cater for many sports ranging from archery to volleyball and are open to students and members of the public all year round.

Derry~Londonderry was the first university sports centre in the UK and Ireland to achieve Quest Registration, which is the UK Quality Award for sport and recreation services.

Multi-Purpose Indoor Sports Hall

A multi purpose sports hall which can cater for a host of activities including indoor football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball, trampolining, gymnastics, archery and exercise and fitness classes.

We also provide clean and spacious changing facilities with safety deposit lockers.

Fitness Suite

The Fitness Suite contains all the latest cardiovascular and resistance equipment to suit all your needs.
Including treadmills, spin bikes, cross trainers, rowing machines and strength and conditioning machines.

Acupressure and Sports Massage Room

In our treatment room we can offer customers seated acupressure massage and sports massage at a very competitive price.

This facility is useful if you are feeling stressed or fatigued.

Duncreggan 3G Floodlit Pitch

This 3G pitch was refurbished in September 2015, and is suitable for 5-a-side, 7-a-side and 11-a-side games.

Duncreggan Grass Pitch

Football, rugby, hurling and gaelic are just some of the sports which can be played on the prunity pitch

Duncreggan Exercise and Fitness Studio

The Duncreggan studio is ideally situated in the heart of the student village and outdoor playing fields.

Changing facilities, toilets, car parking, storage and vending provisions are available.

Exercise and fitness courses such as boxer-circuits, yoga, Pilates, abs attack, bums and tums and table tennis are held in the studio each semester.
