The Library now has access to Covidence, a cloud-based collaboration software platform that streamlines the research review process. Covidence is now available via the Library Databases page.

It can be used across a variety of disciplines, both for systematic/scoping/rapid reviews as well as more narrative-oriented literature reviews.

With Covidence you will be able to:

  • import references/citations
  • screen titles and abstracts
  • upload references
  • screen full texts
  • create custom tables for data extraction
  • populate risk of bias tables
  • export from Covidence at any stage
  • easily collaborate with others inside and outside of your university

For students new to Covidence, the Demo Review is a great way to explore and get familiar with the platform without setting up your own project. It provides a hands-on, sandbox environment with pre-loaded test data that resets regularly, allowing you to practice key features like:

  • Title and abstract screening with keyword highlights
  • Full-text screening and exclusion tracking
  • Customizable data extraction and risk of bias forms
  • Bulk PDF import and export to common formats

You can access the Demo Review by going to the 'Your reviews' page in Covidence and scrolling to the bottom to find the link.

Full details of all our databases and e-resources can be found on the Library Databases page.
