The Library offers 24-hour spaces to Ulster students and staff. 24-hour access includes study environments, social learning spaces and access to computing, printing, scanning and photocopying facilities. Staffed opening hours include enquiry services and support, borrowing and access to book stock.

Christmas | All libraries will close at 9pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026 (normal staffed opening times). 24-hour spaces will be available throughout Christmas with the exception of December 25th, 26th and January 1st. Students & staff must have their card with them to gain access and we ask that users report to campus security desks before entering libraries. | |
St Patrick's Day | All libraries will be closed on Tuesday 17th March 2026. | |
Easter | All libraries will close at 8pm on Friday 3rd April 2026 and will reopen on Monday 13th April 2026 (normal staffed opening times). | |
May Day | All libraries will be closed on Monday 4th May 2026. | |
Summer Opening 2026 | Summer (staffed) opening hours commence on Saturday 23rd May 2026. The last weekend opening is Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026. Please note, there is no weekend opening during the summer. | |
