The thematic focus underpinning the LLM Access to Justice (previously called LLM Clinical Legal Education) and the Ulster University Law Clinic is ‘access to justice’.
We have a particular interest the areas of unmet legal need that have been identified through our research and clinical work.
The research interests of staff and doctoral students cover a range of areas relating to access to justice, including employment law; social security law and policy; litigants in person; housing; children’s rights; education law; clinical legal education; legal innovation; and legal pedagogy.
