Are young people the forgotten victims of the Covid pandemic?

Ciara Fitzpatrick participated in the main discussion of the morning which focused on the fate of young people as the catastrophic economic repercussions of the pandemic begin to unfold.

Alongside fellow panelists (Student Victoria Johnson, the Bishop of Derry, Donal McKeown and business owner Gerry Carlisle), Ciara discussed how this generation could be supported (tune in from 34.30). She emphasised the current weaknesses in the social security system and underscored the importance of ensuring that young people had a seat at decision making tables.
