Information for legal professionals on partnering with Ulster University Law Clinic.
Partner with us
Ulster University Law Clinic works in partnership with law firms and legal organisations to deliver meaningful student learning while expanding access to justice within our communities.
We welcome collaboration with firms who share our commitment to professional development, community engagement, and social impact.
Get involved
There are many ways legal professionals and firms can get involved with Ulster University Law Clinic.
Student placements
Law firms can support the development of future legal professionals by offering placement opportunities. These placements provide students with valuable insight into practice and help bridge the gap between academic study and the profession.
Supervision and Mentorship
Practitioners play a vital role in guiding students through clinical work. Firms can contribute by supervising student casework, providing mentorship and career guidance, and supporting the development of professional and ethical skills.
Training and Development
We welcome contributions from firms in delivering training sessions and workshops. This may include practical legal skills (e.g. drafting, advocacy, client care), insights into specialist practice areas, or professional development and employability skills.
Funding and Sponsorship
Financial support enables the Law Clinic to continue delivering free legal services to those who need them most. Contributions from partner firms help us to expand outreach clinics, support student participation, enhance resources and service delivery, and increase access to justice across our communities.
