'Fulfil Your Potential'
In January 2019, the Wo/men's Network was launched to provide a supportive network across Ulster University. One year on, in January 2020, we are hosting our second ‘All Campus’ event on the Belfast campus to bring everyone together to (i) connect, (ii) share experiences and (iii) focus on the theme 'Fulfil Your Potential!' The day will have inspirational speakers and a number of breakout sessions which will focus on key areas to help you fulfil your potential no matter what stage you are at in your own personal and professional journey.
The event will include:
- Stories of vulnerability, courage, change, success and failure from external and internal guest speakers.
- Information on why our stories matter and why what we tell ourselves about our stories matters even more!
- A call to collective action to support people to fulfil their potential.
- Breakout sessions focusing on:
- Understanding You (Identity, Roles and Labels)
- Believing in You (Confidence, Self-belief, Overcoming Impostor Syndrome)
- Getting Unstuck (Perspective, Overcoming Barriers)
- Taking the Next Step (Leadership, Stepping up to Opportunities, New Challenges)
- Celebrating You (Being Visible, Consolidating Achievements and Successes)
Contributors to the event include:
- Karise Hutchinson (Provost Coleraine, Ulster University)
- Cathy Jack (Medical Director, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust)
- June Burgess (Leadership and Resilience Coach, TedX Speaker, Developer of the Fitzwilliam Hotel)
