Did you know that November was National Scholarship Month? We took the opportunity to take pause and recognise the transformational power of scholarships in shaping students' futures.

Throughout the academic year, Ulster University currently offer 40 scholarship opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.  We are fortunate to have developed strong relationships with corporate partners and other supporters, who generously donate to making these scholarship opportunities possible.

Scholarships help to alleviate the financial pressure of attending university and supports students to dedicate themselves full-time to their studies and future career development. Scholarships enable students pursue a range of opportunities to enrich their student experience and prepare for further study or graduate roles.

In 2022 - 2023 alone, with the support of our donors, we provided 238 students with life-changing scholarships to the value of over £700,000.

Watch the video below to find out more about how donations from our graduates, staff, corporate partners and supporters are positively impacting the lives of our students and helping address some of our most pressing research challenges.

We are seeing a staggering increase in applications for scholarships, reflecting the growing need amongst our students to afford necessities to attend university. Our goal is to welcome more supporters to our giving community and work together to help a greater number of students who are struggling financially.
