At Ulster, we are proud of the impact our students and alumni have made in supporting all sectors of our economy during these unprecedented times.

Does your organisation need a COVID-19 Business Recovery Plan?

We understand that employers across all sectors are restructuring and safeguarding their business ensuring fitness for purpose and adapting to meet the needs of their customers and employees. With uncertainty ahead we are bracing for an increasingly competitive graduate labour market for our students.

We can support you through the rewards of placement learning

With our flexible placement programme we can support your business in gaining time, talent and skills and help kick start your momentum without potentially committing to long term employment. This is a cost-effective supported resource to assist your business.

Our placements can last from a minimum 24 weeks (or part-time equivalent), up to a year in duration with the flexibility to offer shorter duration placements if required.

Our students can undertake placements in your workplace, where health and safety measures are in place such as social distancing, or through remote and virtual work practices.  Our students are agile, motivated and willing to gain knowledge and insight whilst assisting you with ideas, strategies and solutions.

For 2020/21 we are introducing enhanced University placement support to help you navigate this space and avail of university expertise as required.

Giving tomorrow’s leaders their first step-up

You may remember being in their shoes and recognise the value that placement learning can bring to future career aspirations.

If you would like to speak to someone regarding placement opportunities, please email: placements@ulster.ac.uk and our colleagues will come back to you as soon as possible.
