Help us to protect our most vulnerable students

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many students have lost part-time jobs and are experiencing reduced family income. In April 2020, the number of students requesting financial help increased by 69% and we know demand from those hit hardesr will continue to grow.

To ensure those with potential can come to Ulster and have the means to see out their education, over the next 5 years, we aim to double our efforts to support 1,000 students.

Can you help us to protect our most vulnerable students, encourage those most at risk to take the step into university, provide confidence and security, and support our most talented and committed students to reach their full potential.

Can you help us to support more students like Victoria?

“Having entered the care system as a teenager, I was determined that education would transform my life, despite little encouragement to study.

The scholarship I received was invaluable, allowing me to, against all the odds, reduce my working hours so I could focus on my studies and achieve my potential. It simply would not have been possible without the scholarship.”
