Using Generative Ai at Ulster
This webpage outlines the University’s position on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Practice and shares relevant guidance, resources, and communications on this subject.
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) refers to the use of AI in the creation of new content including, but not limited to, text, images, audio, video, computer code and music.
Both a disruptor and an influential agent for change, GenAI attracts enthusiasm and concern in equal measure, as we continuously develop our understanding of the opportunities and challenges it presents to the student experience.
Contemporary practice in Higher Education requires an integrated approach to help us navigate this new era where GenAI will be ubiquitous in our personal and professional lives.
To engage in the conversation around and share experiences with GenAi in Higher Education Practice we have established an Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice Teams channel. Come and join us General | Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice | Microsoft Teams
