Where I went

For my study year abroad, I decided to study at Florida Universitaria in Valencia, Spain. I can definitely say that I had the best time of my life studying and living in Valencia.

I got the opportunity to meet and make friends with people from all over Europe and I got to experience a different culture and language from my own.

Travel

I had many opportunities to travel and visit other cities such as Madrid, Alicante, and Lisbon. I also got to try new food such as Paella which originated in Valencia. While living in Valencia, I was able to improve my level of Spanish and speak more confidently with locals.

Study

While studying at the university, I was able to learn subjects that were not being taught at my home university and the staff were amazing. I was able to grow as a person and boost my confidence.

I hope to return to Valencia in the near future and meet up with my new friends that I have met throughout this journey. The city is amazing, with so much to do and there are many opportunities to travel and explore my host country.
