Exhibitor Stands
We have a number of exhibitors with information stands at this year’s Festival. Please take some time to see what they have to offer.
Library Services
Library Services engage with PhD researchers by offering access to scholarly resources, research tools, and expert guidance that are essential for advanced academic work. Key services include databases and document delivery; Subject Librarians who offer research consultations; open access publishing advice including open access to e-theses. Library staff will be available to talk about open access publishing and Subject Librarian guidance.
Research and Innovation (PURE Support)
PURE is Ulster University’s Current Research Information System (CRIS). A PURE Profile is generated for all PhD Researchers and Research staff when they commence their research or take up employment at Ulster. The PURE Support team will be available to answer your questions and offer advice with regards to all areas of PURE.
UUSU
As the recognised, collective voice of students and researchers at Ulster University, UUSU represents the views and experience of the PGR community locally, nationally and across key university meetings. With a range of services available, we will support your PhD journey through our independent Advice Bureau and provide opportunities to make new connections and friendships through societies, campaigns and community networks.
Staff Networks: Neuro Network
The NeuroNetwork is a staff and research student Network which aims to provide a safe space for discussion of issues around neuroinclusivity and help to raise awareness of neuroinclusivity within the wider University by hosting events and supporting initiatives which further the adoption of good practice for both staff and students.
We are open to all neurodivergent staff and research students, allies and anyone who has a personal or professional interest in neurodiversity and embedding neuroinclusion within Ulster University.
International Student Advisory Service
The International Student Advisory Service (ISAS) provides dedicated support for international students on non-academic and welfare matters, including immigration and adjusting to life in Northern Ireland. The team offers guidance on areas such as finding accommodation, working part-time during studies, and student visas. In addition, ISAS runs a wide range of social and cultural activities throughout the academic year, helping our all of our students integrate into university life and the wider community.
