Keltbray: developing future leaders through a bespoke executive programme

Keltbray is a specialist construction, engineering and infrastructure solutions group committed to becoming the UK’s leading provider of innovative, sustainable built environment solutions. To support this mission, the company partnered with Ulster University Business School to design a tailored Executive Leadership Development Programme, aimed at accelerating the growth of its next generation of leaders.


Co-created with Keltbray’s senior team, the programme is built around a customised Mini MBA designed to prepare high potential employees for senior management and future board level roles. 
The curriculum blends:

  • Leadership and strategic decision-making
  • Effective team management and motivation
  • Real-world case studies and business simulations
  • Collaborative projects and interactive workshops.

Delivered over several months, the programme provides a hands-on, immersive learning environment that strengthens commercial awareness, leadership capability and strategic thinking.

Kainos: empowering emerging leaders through a tailored executive programme

Kainos Group plc is a UK headquartered digital technology company delivering advanced IT services to major public sector, commercial and healthcare organisations.

Operating across three divisions - Digital Services, Workday Services and Workday Products, Kainos is committed to transforming how its clients work through innovative, people-centered technology solutions.

To support the company’s continued growth and develop a strong pipeline of future leaders, Kainos partnered with Ulster University Business School to create the Inspiring Leaders Programme
This bespoke learning experience is designed to strengthen the capabilities of emerging leaders across the organisation, equipping them with the diverse leadership skills needed for longterm success.

The programme includes:

  • Custom-designed workshops and development sessions
  • Practical skillbuilding tailored to Kainos’s strategic priorities
  • A five day immersive study visit to the Global Leadership Institute at Boston College.

This blend of academic insight and real-world leadership practice offers participants a unique, high impact learning journey.

A recognised qualification with real business impact 

Upon completion, participants earned a Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Leadership, providing them with advanced strategic insight, enhanced leadership capability and the confidence to drive meaningful change within Kainos.

Translink: developing leadership to drive public transport transformation

Translink is Northern Ireland’s public transport provider, committed to delivering modern, integrated services that connect communities and support economic, environmental and societal wellbeing. 

As the public transport sector in Northern Ireland evolves, Translink partnered with Ulster University Business School to create the Elevate Leadership Programme - a customised executive leadership initiative designed to support the organisation’s transformation journey.

The programme equips leaders with the skills and confidence to drive change, foster innovation and lead major business transformation.

Aligned to strategic priorities 

Modules on the programme are tailored to Translink’s current projects and objectives, focusing on:

  • Leading for the future
  • Creating the future
  • Transformational change
  • Digital transformation

Recognised qualification 

Participants who complete the programme earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Leadership, strengthening Translink’s leadership capability for the future.

Belfast Harbour: developing leaders to drive transformation

Belfast Harbour manages the Belfast Harbour Estate, around 20% of the city area, and has overseen major transformation across the area in recent years.

To support current and future leaders in capitalising on new business opportunities, Belfast Harbour partnered with Ulster University Business School to co-create a tailored leadership development programme.

Working closely with senior staff, UUBS designed a customised learning experience aligned to the organisation’s strategic priorities and long-term development goals.

The programme exposes participants to academic insights, leadership frameworks and best practice, while helping them apply this learning directly to their work within Belfast Harbour.

Recognised qualification 

Participants who complete the programme earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Leadership, strengthening leadership capability across the organisation.
