The Centre for Higher Education Research and Practice

The primary role of CHERP is to progress the implementation of aspects of the Learning and Teaching Strategy (2013/14-2017/18) in collaboration with other key players within the institution.

In progressing its work, CHERP will draw mainly on existing resources but will create new configurations, groupings and networks as appropriate, to ensure a focused, informed and co-ordinated approach in addressing themes and issues.

CHERP Journal, Perspectives on Pedagogy & Practice

I am pleased to announce that volume seven of Perspectives on Pedagogy and Practice has been published and a copy is available to view on the journal page.

Please note that, during this period of organisational change, a call for further contributions to the journal will not take place until semester two at the earliest.

CHERP 6th Annual Conference

As you will be aware, we normally hold our annual conference at the end of January each year. This highly successful annual event has been well attended by staff from across the institution and the feedback we have received has always been overwhelmingly positive.

While we are keen to continue with this event, given the current period of organisational change and recent arrival of our new Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, we have decided to delay the 2017 event until early summer.
