
AI in Education
This year's Careers Teachers' Summit at the Derry~Londonderry campus will explore the theme: 'AI in Education'.
A keynote address by Michael Callaghan, School of Computing, Engineering & Intelligent Systems Ulster University, will explore the challenges, practicalities, pitfalls, and opportunities of implementing Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) in education. And will highlight innovative AI applications and practise in local schools and classrooms.
The Summit is an important opportunity to further enhance our partnerships with colleagues at schools, colleges and careers services - allowing us to highlight study opportunities and new developments at Ulster. An update from Admissions was also provided.
The Summit was open to careers teachers, guidance counsellors and careers professionals, heads of departments, teachers and relevant curriculum staff.
