Join us for an ‘In Conversation’ with Cat McCusker, first female Lead of PwC NI

Our latest Graduates in the Spotlight is an ‘International Women’s Day Special Edition’ featuring some incredible alumna who have excelled in their chosen fields.

Throughout March we have been celebrating International Women’s Day through sharing stories of some of our Ulster University alumna making waves in Northern Ireland and beyond.

We are proud of alumna Cat McCusker who was appointed as Regional Market Leader, Northern Ireland and Customer Led Transformation Lead, PwC United Kingdom in 2022. Cat is passionate about developing people to allow them to grow their skills and develop their careers. As Education Consulting Leader she also works with universities globally to drive ways to significantly improve the student experience.

Cat will join us on our Belfast campus for an ‘In Conversation’ event with Professor Paul Moore, Director of Future Screens NI and Co-Director of Ulster’s Creative Industries Institute (CII) to discuss and reflect on the defining moments that have helped shape her impressive career. She will also offer insight on some of the biggest leadership challenges currently facing industry, and the importance of female role models in our society.

The event will be held at 8am on Tuesday 25th April in the Academy Restaurant, at the new Belfast campus. It is an exclusive ticket only event so please book now to avoid disappointment.

Cat said:

“I am passionate about working with clients and the wider community to create a positive societal impact for the region - particularly around the skills agenda, ESG and technology transformation. On a more personal note, I am delighted to share my story as the first female Regional Market Leader in NI and am very much looking forward to speaking to fellow Ulster University alumni and industry colleagues in April.”

Karen Delgado, Deputy Director Engagement (Alumni & Corporate) at Ulster University:

“We are delighted that Cat will take time out to join us on campus, offer an insight into her career journey and help us celebrate women leaders in our society. It is a privilege to work with esteemed alumni such as Cat and a wonderful opportunity for our local alumni and business partners to come together and network.”
