I would like to offer my warmest congratulations to those of you who have recently graduated and welcome you to our global graduate network; UU Connects.

The contribution you make as you move into the world of work will be of great benefit to society, with your collective degrees spanning over 100 subject areas including the arts, media, history, politics, law, engineering, sciences and many more.

You will go on to hold key positions, establish companies, solve problems, develop new innovations and technologies and even save lives!

You will help to transform the companies and industries you work for, taking your new knowledge into society and the workplace. The impact of your years of study will be felt across a wide range of industries locally, nationally and internationally, now and in the future.

2020 has been a difficult year and we acknowledge the very challenging and unusual times in which you completed your studies. We especially commend those in medical-related subjects such as nursing, healthcare and the allied professions who may be embarking on their new career at such a challenging time. Your contribution is more important than ever. But whatever career path you choose, we’ll be behind you supporting you all the way.

We would like to thank you if you have already shared some of your successes and challenges with us as you studied or joined in some of our initiatives to support fellow students such as Mind Your Mood, and we look forward to hearing your stories for many years to come. We’d love it if you would check in from time to time and let us know what’s happening in your world.
