About the Veterinary Lab
Our Veterinary Clinical Skills Lab is Northern Ireland's first purpose-built Veterinary Lab where students gain hands-on experience with essential animal healthcare practices. Equipped with simulation tools, clinical equipment and laboratory diagnostic resources, this lab allows students to practise core competencies such as clinical examinations, nursing procedures, sample collection and basic laboratory techniques before entering real-world settings.
It’s where future veterinary nurses build confidence, refine technical skills, and learn to deliver compassionate animal care in a safe, supervised environment, preparing them for placements and professional practice.
