We are sharing this event on behalf of the Minnesota Journal of International Law. 

The Symposium, sponsored by the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center, is scheduled for November 17, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. CST at the University of Minnesota Law School, Mondale Hall, Room 25. 5.25 CLE credits have been requested. This event is free and open to the public.

The Symposium aims to provide an insight into the transition from wartime to peace and reconstruction, and the human rights concerns that accompany this process through an interdisciplinary and international lens. Minnesota Journal of International Law and the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center are proud to present internationally recognized scholars to create an engaging conversation on the meaning of jus post bellum, reconstruction and peace, and occupation.

Speakers include Jens Iverson, Holly Dunn, Gregory Fox, Paul Morrow, Ruti Teitel, Kristen Boon, alumnus Judge John Tunheim, Professors Fionnuala Ni Aolain and Oren Gross.
