The Library is thrilled to introduce BrowZine, a powerful electronic journals service designed to transform how students and staff discover, read, and stay current with the latest scholarly journals. Think of BrowZine as a personalised, virtual newsstand for academic content, accessible anytime, anywhere.

BrowZine sits alongside the Library’s Electronic Journals site and offers an alternative way to browse and discover e-journals.  BrowZine offers a seamless and intuitive experience, bringing thousands of subscribed e-journals directly to your fingertips. This innovative platform can be an indispensable tool for researchers, students, and faculty across all disciplines at Ulster University.

Effortless Browse & Discovery
Say goodbye to navigating multiple publisher websites. BrowZine allows you to browse our vast collection of scholarly journals by subject, title, or ISSN in a visually appealing, magazine-like format (supported titles only). It's an excellent way to explore new journals and uncover relevant articles you might not find through traditional database searches.
'My Bookshelf' – Your Personalised Collection
Create your own customisable bookshelf of favourite journals. With 'My Bookshelf', you can easily keep track of new issues and articles as they are published, ensuring you never miss important developments in your field.
'My Articles' – Read On-the-Go
Save articles directly to 'My Articles' for convenient access later, even when you're offline. This feature is perfect for reviewing content during commutes or when internet access is limited.
Seamless Access, Any Device
BrowZine is incredibly flexible. Access the web-based version from any computer, or download the free BrowZine app for your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. Your personalised bookshelves and saved articles will sync across all your devices.

Set up alerts to receive notifications the moment new articles are published in your chosen journals, keeping you at the forefront of research.

BrowZine integrates smoothly with RefWorks and other popular citation management tools, allowing you to easily export and manage your references. You can also share articles with colleagues via email or social media platforms.

BrowZine is available from the Library Databases page and across the Library websites.  Alternatively, download the BrowZine app from your device's app store (iOS , Android or Amazon) and select Ulster University from the list of institutions.

Please note, a separate personal registration for a BrowZine account is required for personalisation such as 'My Bookshelf' and 'My Articles'.
