Information to provide

We consider every application carefully and will contact you by email as soon as we make a decision.

Providing that we have sufficient information to make a decision we normally make offers within 2-working days.

This includes:

  • 1. Transcripts and degree certificates

Your first degree transcript should be presented in English.

If you have already graduated please also upload an official scan of your award certificate which shows the date you graduated.

However if your transcripts include the date of graduation and grade then we do not need the award certificate.

  • 2. Personal Statement

The personal statement or statement of purpose, gives you the opportunity to ‘sell’ yourself and is a vital part of your application.

Here you should demonstrate why you should be chosen to study on your chosen course.

Here are some things that are a good idea to include:

    • Why you chose the course
    • Your achievements and interest and how these relate to your chosen course of study
    • Why you would like to study at Ulster University
