Flexible Education (Micro-Credentials)

Upskilling and reskilling the current workforce is vital to meet the evolving economic demands and priorities in Northern Ireland. CASFE leads the development and governance of micro-credentials which offer flexible, focused learning to address the priorities of individuals, industry and government.

Ulster’s standalone micro-credential provision aims to provide learners with the opportunity to enhance, acquire and apply knowledge and skills, specific for personal and professional development. Course provision is available on campus, fully online or hybrid learning.

Micro-credentials can be studied alone or ‘stacked’ towards a larger qualification in Professional Development and their flexible nature allows learners to study at their own pace, which can fit around progression through work, family and other day-to-day commitments.
