Prof Grainne McKeever and Dr Ciara Fitzpatrick have been appointed by Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey to a panel (chaired by Prof McKeever) to review Discretionary Support. Discretionary Support is a scheme which provides financial support to individuals in crisis situations.
Panel members also include Gerry McConville of the Falls Community Council; Jonny Currie of the Trussell Trust, Ursula O’Hare of Law Centre NI and Kevin Higgins of Advice NI.
