The Belfast Degree Apprenticeship Fair will be held on 7 February 2026 during NI Apprenticeship Week.  We've planned a full schedule of talks and panels so that applicants can learn more about the apprenticeships that we offer, and we've invited a number of our employer partners on to campus so you can hear from them and their current apprentices about what it's like to apply for, and succeed on, a Degree Apprenticeship.

Upon arrival at our Belfast campus, you should proceed to the BC block entrance on York St - there is a campus map at the bottom of this page that you can use to plan your visit.  We recommend that you travel to campus via public transportation as parking is very limited, but there are number of paid multi-storey car parks nearby and metered street parking nearby.

We've set aside time between talks to give you the opportunity to network with our employers and apprentices, and to hear more about the work they do and how to apply.

A few tips for the day

  • Review the Application process before you arrive. We've developed a step-by-step guide that details how you apply for apprenticeship roles.  Find a suitable course, secure an apprenticeship employer, and then apply to the University.
  • Get chatting to everyone. You might be surprised!  Employers increasingly take on apprentices in multiple subject areas, but even if they don't, you can still gain insight into what employers are looking for in an apprentice.
  • Current Apprentices are your best resource to learn about what it's actually like to do an apprenticeship.  Come prepared with questions and you can expect honest answers!
  • As roles are advertised before and after the event, they will appear on our Find an Apprenticeship webpage. We've asked as many employers as possible to use this resource so that you have easy access to the applications of the organisations in attendance.  Review the application process for those who are already advertising, and use the opportunity to clarify and ask questions.
