About the Immersive Telepresence Suite
Ulster University’s Derry~Londonderry immersive telepresence suite enables staff to meet and collaborate with colleagues and external partners across multiple locations. It provides a cost‑effective and environmentally sustainable alternative to travel, delivering high‑quality audio and video for research meetings, teaching sessions, and recruitment panels.
The room features a multi‑screen telepresence setup, high‑quality audio, and HDMI inputs for sharing content with internal or external participants.
Bookings are made directly through the Outlook Calendar, and early booking is recommended to ensure availability. When inviting external participants, at least five days’ notice is required to allow for compatibility checks and connection testing.
MD-008a accommodates up to 21 people.
