Neuro-illuminate

Funded by the Department for the Economy, Neuro-illuminate is an initiative that promotes neurodiversity-inclusive practice across Further and Higher Education. The project is funded until 31 March 2026 and brings together educators, learners, and industry to improve support for neurodiverse individuals and teams.

Key objectives include:

• Capacity building: Equipping leadership, teaching, and support staff with practical tools and training.
• Knowledge exchange: Sharing best practice, research, and lived experience.
• Innovation in learning design: Embedding Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and assistive technologies in teaching and assessment.
• Impact measurement: Evaluating improvements in engagement, retention, and progression through neuroinclusive approaches.
