About Student Wellbeing Spaces

The Sensory Space located in Student Wellbeing on the Derry~Londonderry campus, is a dedicated space for students. This space is designed to support self-regulation and wellbeing, with a range of sensory tools for students to explore and use at their own pace.

Features of the Sensory Space include adjustable lighting to create a soothing atmosphere, tactile items to explore, and calming sound sources, which can be played to enhance relaxation. Sessions in the space are limited to 45 minutes to accommodate all interested students.

Students can book time in the space by attending the Student Wellbeing front desk on campus or through the booking link below.

All student feedback is appreciated as this helps us to improve the space. Student can feedback in a questionnaire located in the space (paper and digital version available) or suggestion box.
