Art Unwrapped returns to Ulster University's Belfast Campus and its new art gallery.

A unique project in partnership with National Museums of Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council, Art Unwrapped presents the work of a singular artist in the national collection as a gift to the city over the Christmas period.

This year the exhibition will focus on Margaret Clarke, presenting three paintings by the artist in the company of work by another of Northern Ireland's great women painters - Catherine McWilliams. For the first time, Art Unwrapped presents four artworks by two artists from public and private collections including National Museums, Newry and Mourne Museum and The Irish News.

The exhibition also involves students from the Belfast School of Art, offering tours and invigilation of the work. You can book tours and see additional content which will be brought out to neighbouring schools at Art Unwrapped.

Art Unwrapped opens on 8th December 2022 and closes on 5th January 2023.
