Financial Support for UK/Home Students
This is a discretionary fund that can provide financial assistance for registered UK/Home students who have exhausted all other options of financial support.
If better money management could rectify your current financial situation, we will invite you to attend a meeting with one of our team to put the necessary steps in place.
It should not be assumed that you will receive an award. Assessment may conclude that receiving money management guidance will rectify your financial situation.
Students are asked to allow 20 working days for their application to be fully processed, from the date all evidence has been received.
Students can apply for financial support if they can evidence that they have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
In addition to the documentary evidence required, please include evidence of this, such as a GP letter detailing that you are still required to shield / self-isolate, evidence that you are unable to find work, or a letter from your employer detailing that you have recently lost your job (within last 6 weeks).
If purchasing a laptop is required in order to complete remote study, and you can evidence that this would put you into financial difficulties, you may be eligible for support.
In addition to the documentary evidence required, please include a screen shot of a quote / price for the laptop required to complete your studies.
