UCAS Extra 2018

UCAS Extra gives you another opportunity to apply for a full-time undergraduate course starting September 2018.

Who can apply for UCAS Extra?

You need to have already made five choices, received decisions from all these choices and either had no offers or declined all the offers you have received. Only students from England, Scotland and Wales can apply to Ulster University via UCAS Extra.

Which courses are available at Ulster?

These are all listed on the UCAS website and you can apply by using the course search facility within UCAS Track between 25 February to 4 July. If you have any questions about using the service or about a course not listed simply get in touch via s.campbell@ulster.ac.uk.

How do I apply through Extra for a course with Ulster?

  • If you are eligible for UCAS Extra, a button will appear within the choices section on your UCAS Track screen – click this to apply for a course.
  • Use the UCAS search tool to search for courses at Ulster and use the filter 'Show courses in Extra'
  • Once you've selected a course, click the 'Add an Extra choice' button. Ulster will then be sent your application by UCAS.

How do I accept an offer through UCAS Extra?

You will be sent a deadline by UCAS to make your decision. If you decide to decline your offer or are unsuccessful you can apply for a different course via the same process. You can only apply to one course at a time within Extra.
