This seminar will focus on the ongoing Commission for Victims and Survivors (CVSNI) PEACE IV funded Needs Review Project, examining the current needs of victims and survivors of the conflict following the Comprehensive Needs Assessment conducted in 2010-2012.

The seminar will explore issues regarding the parity of victim and survivor support cross jurisdictionally; the ongoing attempts to establish transitional justice mechanisms; transgenerational conflict legacy; collaborative and partnership working; and approaches to building a better future.

Presenter: Orla Drummond is Research Manager of the Commission for Victims and Survivors in Northern Ireland (CVSNI) Peace IV funded Needs Review Project. Prior to this she was a Research Fellow on QUB’s Transgenerational Legacy and Young People Project.

She received her PhD from School of Law, Ulster University in 2015, examining access to justice for children and young people with special educational needs.
