What was your motivation for undertaking postgraduate study at Ulster University?
Once I had decided to study a postgraduate degree, I knew I’d be choosing Ulster.
While I was undertaking my undergraduate degree at Ulster, I returned to complete my final year with a 3 month old baby.
How can postgraduate study fit around your busy life?
My lecturers were understanding, going above and beyond to ensure that I felt supported and now with two kids, working full time and studying a Masters, that support system has grown.
Distance learning has enabled me to fit my studies around my life. I began the Masters in September 2020, after being made redundant while on maternity leave.
In December 2020 I entered full time employment again, in a STEM role, and by March 2021 I secured a job within my chosen field-something that wouldn’t have been possible without the Masters qualification and experience.
