How to become a Needs Assessor

Our Freelance Needs Assessors play an important role in enabling our students to access funded disability support through the Disabled Students' Allowance.

The Needs Assessment Centre allocates students to our Freelance Needs Assessors to meet and discuss their range of support needs to access higher education at Ulster University.  They must then provide a full report of these needs and recommendations and they will receive a payment per report submitted that meets the appropriate quality standards.

The opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified Needs Assessors to submit an expression of interest to join our list of freelance self-employed Needs Assessors.

Needs assessment work is available in all Ulster University campuses – Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee.
