Welcome to Ulster - Living and Learning in Northern Ireland	Monday 22 January 2024 @ 10:15 AM	MU201 Welcome to Ulster University! In this comprehensive session you find out how our International Student Advisory Service supports you. You will hear about the services we offer, find out how to open a UK bank account, how to register with a doctor and much, much more. Please join us for this important first session of your first week at Ulster.

Finding Accommodation - Drop-In with ISAS Staff	Monday 22 January 2024 @ 2:30 PM	MU201 Finding accommodation can be difficult. If you have concerns about securing long-term accommodation then this is your opportunity to ask questions and learn more about finding the accommodation that best suits your needs.
Walking Tour of Derry~Londonderry City	Monday 22 January 2024 @ 3:15 PM	MD Front Steps Our Global Ambassadors will give you a whistle-stop tour of the City, pointing out the main landmarks and allowing you find out about where to shop, get the bus, relax, enjoy the night-life and lots more.
Global Ambassador Troubleshooting Session	Monday 22 January 2024 @ 4:15 PM	Ground Floor, Library If you have any questions about the day's sessions or if anything else crosses your mind, our Global Ambassadors and team will be on hand to support and direct you towards the relevant services within the University. Understanding your Student Visa	Wednesday 24 January 2024 @ 10:15 AM	MU201 In this session our Compliance Team will explain, in-depth, the terms of your Student Visa and how to stay compliant throughout your time at Ulster. This is mandatory for all Student Visa Holders. If you do not have a Student Visa, you should not attend this session. If you are unsure if this session applies to you, please email isas@ulster.ac.uk
Your Wellbeing - Our Student Wellbeing Team and Faith Communities	Wednesday 24 January 2024 @ 11:15 AM	MU201 In this orientation session meet our Student Wellbeing team and learn about the support they offer throughout the year. You will have the chance to meet members of our Chaplaincy service and other faith communities who support students during their studies.
Your Safety & Security - PSNI & Community Safety Wardens	Wednesday 24 January 2024 @ 12:15 PM	MU201 In this session you will meet the local community policing team and some of our Community Safety Wardens. You will receive advice on how to stay safe, be scam aware and how to protect your personal belongs.

The Employability and Careers team supports students through developing their CV, postgraduate work and much more.

End of Orientation - Movie & Pizza	Friday 26 January 2024 @ 3:00 PM	UUSU Games Room A great way to finish up your busy week of orientation events. Please come and join us in the Students Union's Games Room for an end of week film and some food!

North Coast Away Day - Booking closes Jan 31st	Saturday 3 February 2024 @ 8:30 AM	Sign up for our away day to the Giant's Causeway. A bus will take you from Derry~Londonderry to the Giant's Causeway and back, we will visit Portrush where we will stop for lunch. The closing date to sign up is Wednesday, 31st January 2024. The cost is only £10 per person, but hurry—spots are limited. Reserve your spot now! Important Note: The event may close earlier than 31st January if places are full before the deadline.
