Overview
Jack is one of the Postdoctoral Research Associates for the Real Complaints project. Jack’s PhD, at Loughborough University, analysed how people communicate during disagreements in public spaces using an approach called Conversation Analysis.
He is a co-founder of the Remote Data Sessions, the Resistance in talk-in-interaction network, co-organises the DARGchive series, and in 2019 was awarded the Overall Impact award at Loughborough University, and won the I’m a Scientist! Get me out of here! Competition in the British Psychological Society’s ’Society Zone’.
