Fred Morrison joined the School of Communication in 2000. Fred’s teaching and consultancy interests are in organisational and interpersonal communication.
Fred was educated at Ulster University taking firstly a BSc in Psychology and subsequently a DPhil researching the challenges and skills of persons with severe learning disabilities. He teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Fred holds qualifications in Level A and Level B psychometric assessment and is a member of the European Federation of Professional Assessment (EFPA).
Fred is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and is a Chartered Psychologist in occupational assessment. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and currently is a member of the Northern Ireland CIPR Committee. He is also a past board member of ONUS NI (Women’s Aid) and continues to undertake pro-bono consultancy work in support of those experiencing domestic violence.
Fred has extensive commercial consultancy experience having worked on projects for multi-national organisations such as Airbus, Bombardier Aerospace, Tech Data (Florida and Europe) and Talentquest (Georgia USA). Locally he has worked on numerous consultancy projects funded by Invest NI .
